As the Founder of Zen Engineering, a Surveyor and graduate Civil Engineer, I’m extremely passionate about the Civil Engineering Industry, as those that know me can attest to that. This passion spans the Survey – Engineering – Construction life cycle. My amazing dad started me on this journey back in 1977 when I graduated high school, but I’ve taken the reigns and have become committed to helping others accomplish their goals. My spin is to take the best of two worlds and blend old-school values using modern-day technology that produces appropriate quality and a return on investment. The focus is to build a bridge that spans the old and new generations. And everyone needs to be involved. Beyond Mark’s Engineering and Survey skills, his career and activity as a Civil software specialist is beyond words. For those that know him there is no question that he is among the best in the business. He has published several million words of technical material, is a true master of creating documentation, communicating software intent, developing work processes, optimizing human and software resources, and working in your best interests. And he drives a mean Lotus!
